Some love the depth and really relate to Bella. Others can't stand her because they feel she's too "obsessed" with the relationship, and it makes her a weaker character. So, what do you think? I was disturbed by the glorification of self-destructive impulses. I really enjoyed Blood and Chocolate. I think the movie was good light watching fair, but nothing like the book, as usual. I also really enjoyed Silver Kiss. In general, I love any fantasy with romantic elements. Always have and always will. I suggest you read an incredible novel called Long Night Dance, about a girl who falls for a selkie but decides she's going to discover herself before she marries.   Reply to this Post

Bella is a whiny, melodramatic martyr who is sometimes TSTL. I think that this book could've been much stronger. I'm enjoying it but only because I want Bella and Edward to have their HEA.
